My new home, for now

I am settled in at Fort Eustis, Virginia.  I am in 202nd Military Police Company, 2nd Platoon, First Squad, Bravo Team.  Everyone here seems to be nice and more than willing to help me "The New Guy" get settled in.  We are going to be leaving here on May 28th and heading to Fort Polk, Louisiana for 3 weeks where we will be training prior to us deploying to Baqubah, Iraq sometime between September and December.  The base is very small but the surrounding area is well built with a lot of shopping areas and great food, and a Starbucks and a Dunkin Donuts.  I am 30 minutes away from Virginia beach.  We did a 6 mile ruck march on the beach, most of it in the water, last week.  Bush Gardens is also close so at least I will be able to get some excitement in my life when I get some freetime.  I will definitely get pics of us here and post them soon.  I appreciate everyone checking my website and leaving messages.
